Summary
Steve Irwin, an Australian wildlife conservationist, brought adventure and the wilderness to television with his popular TV show The Crocodile Hunter. Known for his hands-on approach to dealing with all kinds of wild animals, Irwin was tragically killed when a stingray barb pierced his chest while he was taping a show in 2006. His legacy, however, continues through the work of his family, including his daughter, Bindi. Already making a name for herself as "the Jungle Girl" in television, film, and books, Bindi has taken over where her father left off. In this biography, read about the lives and passions of the entire Irwin family and their wildlife legacy.
