About the Author(s)

Margaret Musmon holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Indiana State University and an Ed.D. from Boston University. She is a retired professor and director of the dance program at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, where she coached an award-winning ballroom team. Musmon has edited and produced the newsletters Dance, Child International, and the National Dance Association's Spotlight on Dance. She is past president of the National Dance Association and is currently the president of the Board of Dance Projects, Inc. in New York City.
