About the Author(s)

Nathan Aaseng received a B.A. in English and biology from Luther College in Iowa. Recognized as a Notable Wisconsin Author in 1999 by the Wisconsin Library Association, he has written more than 160 books on a wide range of topics and close to 100 biographies. He is also the author of African-American Athletes, Revised Edition in Facts On File's A to Z of African Americans set.
