About the Author(s)

Andrew Maunder is Principal Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. He has edited a number of literary texts and critical works, including Sensationalism and the Sensation Debate: An Anthology and Victorian Crime, Madness and Sensation: Interdisciplinary Essays. He received his Ph.D. in English from the University of Nottingham.
