Julia Ortiz-Griffin is currently a professor of Spanish history, culture, and literature at The City University of New York. She is the author and editor of several volumes, including Spain and Portugal Today, as well as many articles dealing with Spanish civilization.

William D. Griffin received a Ph.D from Fordham University and is currently a professor of history at St. John's University.
