Infobase Learning Announces Acquisition of Learn360

New York, NY, November 14, 2012—Infobase Learning, a Veronis Suhler Stevenson portfolio company, announced today that it has acquired Learn360, an interactive media-on-demand service for the K-12 education market, from AIM Education, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

A subscription-based provider of streaming media resources for the K-12 education market in the United States and Canada, the Learn360 platform contains more than 73,000 multimedia assets—including a wealth of digital video titles, video clips, speeches, images, songs, research articles, and activities from over 60 top educational producers—and has a user base of more than 25,000 schools. Learn360 is also a technology leader, offering educators and students a myriad of features and tools not found on any other streaming video platform. Additionally, all Learn360's video content is correlated to state, provincial, and Common Core standards, supporting 21st Century Learning Initiatives and meeting today's demands of school districts and teacher curricula.

"Infobase is dedicated to providing authoritative, curriculum-based content in formats best suited for today's learners. Learn360 is an obvious fit for us, as it enhances our ability to offer high-value content in emerging formats," said Mark McDonnell, president and CEO of Infobase Learning, parent company of esteemed brands such as Facts On File, Films Media Group, The World Almanac®, and Chelsea House.

"This acquisition greatly expands our existing reach within the elementary, middle school, and high school markets," added McDonnell. "Learn360's extensive multimedia assets and virtual classroom platform complement Infobase's award-winning digital reference products.
