Today's Science and Encyclopedia of the U.S. Presidency Are Booklist Editors’ Choice Reference Sources

New York, NY, November 26, 2013—Infobase Learning is pleased to announce that Booklist has recognized both Today's Science and Encyclopedia of the U.S. Presidency: A Historical Reference on their annual list of Editors' Choice Reference Sources.

Recently redesigned, Today's Science bridges the gap between the science taught in the classroom and real-world discoveries by providing science news written especially for students. This is the second high-profile recognition Today's Science has received this year—the database is also a recent recipient of The ComputED Gazette's Education Software Review Award (EDDIES) in the "High School Science Database Website" category.

Encyclopedia of the U.S. Presidency is the most comprehensive and detailed reference on the presidency ever published. Covering more than 200 years of American history in six volumes, this landmark encyclopedia offers a wealth of information for students, scholars, and the general public. In addition to being selected by Booklist as an Editors' Choice Reference Source, this groundbreaking work has been "highly recommended" by both Choice and Library Media Connection.

The American Library Association has published Booklist for more than 100 years, and its awards and reviews are highly respected throughout the industry. Other Infobase Learning resources that have been named Booklist Editors' Choice Reference Sources include databases such as Ferguson's Career Guidance Center, American Women's History Online, American Indian History Online, and World Geography and Culture Online, as well as Encyclopedia of Free Blacks and People of Color in the Americas, Encyclopedia of American Environmental History, and numerous others.
